The Day The Tower Fell

The Day the Tower Fell is a shard in the video game Cyberpunk 2077 that discusses the events that took place on August 2023, when Johnny Silver-hand and his squad detonated a mini-nuke in Arasaka Tower. Yet, the shard doesn’t actually state that Johnny Silver-hand and his group were the one’s who blew up the building, and instead names them simply as terrorists. This was probably done to take the attention away from them and instead highlight the amount of damage done to the victims and to the corporation.

And could you blame them? A group of terrorists detonated a nuclear bomb, blowing Arasaka Tower to pieces. The Terrorists’ warning came too late — not all of the Tower’s employees could be evacuated. The blast itself killed and wounded thousands, while countless others died from radiation sickness. How did the biggest terrorist attack in the 21st century happen? Who was behind this catastrophe?
